Animals have been rumored to act strangely when confronted with impending natural disasters. Perhaps ants walk in certain patterns, or birds reinforce their nests. Through some subconscious knowledge that power might be lost and food might spoil, some of us decided to use as much butter as possible.

well, that frosting was a real life recipe from a real life cookbook. i won't tell which one, because its a really good cookbook. ok, the real reason is i can't remember if it was The Best Recipe or How to Cook Everything that set me wrong. but, the recipe is four sticks of butter to 1/3 cup sugar. how could i not know that would be disgusting.
Beki, I am so so sorry i ruined your hurricake vision. nexxt time i won't whine when you mention frosting in a can.
